A new year means new adventures and there is plenty to explore throughout the UK. We’ve put together a few of the destinations on our bucket list for 2020 to give you some inspiration for your travels. Let us know where else we should add to the list.

Fairy Pools ~ Isle of Sky

Natural pools that are magical by name and magical by nature. You will have to park your van and prepare for a hike as this is only accessible on foot, but it will be more than worth it.

Puzzlewood ~ Gloucestershire

Filled with rock and tree formations, plus rocks, bridges and trees, this is then explorers haven. Rumoured to be the inspiration behind Middle Earth for The Lord of the Rings, it feels like a total fantasy land.

Fingal’s Cave ~ Isle of Staffa

72 feet tall and 270 feet deep, adorned with hexagonal columns that make up the walls of the cave. People travel from far and wide to see the spectacle and it an even be attributed as a source of inspiration for Pink Floyd and Jules Verne.

Alnwick Poison Gardens ~ Alnwick

The deadliest garden in the UK. 100 toxic, intoxicating and narcotic plants live behind the gated walls and we can’t wait to visit. There’s loads more to do in the area too

Portmeirion ~ Wales

It’s hard to believe it is a real place. This village in Wales is busting with colour and will leave you feeling like Alice in Wonderland. Totally magical and of course you can make a trip of it and explore North Wales.
