Beginners guide to campervanning
If you’re a novice in the campervanning world, it can be hard to know where to start. When you’re spending so much time in what is essentially a tiny house, you want to make it is comfortable as possible, read our tips so you can enjoy your adventures like a seasoned campervanning pro!
Travel light
Whatever you think you need to take with you, you could probably half it. Try and travel as light as you can, without endless outfit changes and seven pairs of socks for each day, just in case. Really evaluate what you need to take with you and prioritise what you really need. Campervans are cosy but you don’t want to feel cramped, surrounded by unnecessary pairs of shoes and paraphernalia.
Make it your home
A campervan should be your home from home, so it needs to feel like it. Adding your own personal touches whether it’s some scatter cushions or a rug that reminds you of home, you want to make your stamp on your camper so every time you step inside, it feels exciting and welcoming.
Tidy van, tidy mind
This is possibly the most important point. Small spaces can get messy very quickly when you don’t keep on top of the daily tasks. Keeping your van tidy will change your campervanning experience for the better, we can assure you. Try to tidy up as you go or dedicate ten minutes a day to making sure the van looks spick and span.
Fresh air
Open the doors, draw open the curtains and let the fresh air and light flood in. Not only will it air the van out, but it will leave you feeling fresh and invigorated, ready for your next adventure.
