Best places to catch a sunset

Sunsets are subjective and we know there are a lot of variables but we are sharing some of our most magical ones we have seen. Whether you’re a sunset-chaser like us, or just looking for some inspiration on places to visit, have a read of these…

Barmouth

A lovely beach and plenty of things to see and do but sitting and watching the sun go down is by far one of our favourite things to do. Welsh charm, great fish and chips and pebbles underfoot. What more could you want?

Isle of Skye

Anywhere is a good spot on the Isle of Skye and the great thing in, you can explore a lot of Skye in a relatively short time, hello sunset chaser. The Old Man of Storr is always a good shout and if you can park up next to the water edge, you won’t regret that either.

Edale

Perfect for long walks and cosy pubs, Edale offers some great sunsets too. Whether you’re looking for a long weekend or a mini hiking mission when the skies light up, you will be impressed we are sure.

Stonehenge

Whatever the sky is saying, this is always a good destination. There is something fascinating about the stones and we never get tired of seeing them. Sunset just makes it all the more magical.

We are suckers for a sunset so if you have any spots you love, let us know. Equally, if you are looking for a camper van in Glasgow, you know where to find us and every van comes with recommendations and tips aplenty.
