Games galore
From eye spy to packing metal detector and a football, get some good games lined up so that there will never be an ‘I’m Bored!’ heard again. Books are also a great idea and if you are taking tablets and things, make sure you have a battery pack for them for those longer journeys.
Make a checklist
Baby wipes, baby wipes, baby wipes. As well as a few other things. Make a list of the things that you will need or will make your life easier and make sure you have them to hand.
Plan your food
Now, you may not have a fussy eater on your hands but if you have, plan food that will be a crowd pleaser and have some firm favourites ready to go.
Get a campfire on the go
Nothing is more magical than a campfire, check you are allowed to set up camp first but then crack out the marshmallows and tell stories around the fire. Not only will you make great memories but there are tasty snacks involved too!
