Camping in cooler weather
If you’re planning an adventure over the coming months, COVID-safe of course, then you might want to think about camping in your van in cooler weather, how to stay warm and how to stay comfortable. If that’s you, read on below…
Layering Up
Whether you’re climbing Snowdon or heading for the hills, you will want to layer up, particularly in the evenings. Temperatures are dropping and you want to make sure you enjoy yourself and are not sat shivering. Base layers are good, even for sleeping in and that brings us onto our next point…
Thick Socks
Your new best friend. Come walk or rest, thick socks will keep your feet toasty and warm. Check out walking socks. Bed socks or even just some really thick high street socks to combat chilly toes.
Sleeping bags
Now, we all love a duvet but a sleeping bag will be the answer to snuggly toes and get rid of your sleeping woes. Get a double if you want to share or a single if you like to keep your own heat! There’s no reason why you should be cold while camping and a sleeping bag is the final piece of the puzzle.
Plenty of refreshments
Take the edge off in the morning with a hot cup of tea (or coffee) so make sure you have a good stock of tea bags and coffee, no one wants to be caught short.
If you are heading out on the road this winter, get in touch with the team at Your Camper, for a camper van that will see you through this winter and many more to come. We specialise in campervans and conversions in Glasgow and can advise on your next vehicle.
