Essentials to have in your camper van cupboards
Much like your store cupboard at home, there are some absolutely essential items that never go out of style in a camper van, here are some of them…
Condiments
There’s nothing worse than craving ketchup and being miles away from a shop. While we know this isn’t ‘essential’, we are using that word very lightly, it is nice to have some home comforts with you and a dollop of red sauce never went a miss. What we will say is remember to check the dates on them, it might be worth putting a sticker on so you know when it was opened.
Tins
There’s a tin for everything nowadays, even a Christmas dinner. We’re thinking more along the lines of soups and beans, spaghetti and veg to make mealtimes a little easier in the camper. A stock of food that you can grab and run with without having to think too much about it.
Hot drinks
Coffe that is instant and already has powdered milk in it is always a winner, as is instant tea, in case of emergencies. Make sure you keep your drinks cupboard stocked so you don’t have a rude awakening first thing in the morning!
Treats
Again, not essential, but the odd bar of chocolate or your favourite crisps will always be something to look forward to. Whether you’re at home or on the road, it’s nice to have some things that aren’t basic or deemed as utterly essential. Stock up next time you for to the shop!
