Make the UK your stomping ground
With the big B-word looming over our heads, getting your head around the new legalities is tricky. If you’re planning a trip, head to one of these picturesque places instead of hot-footing it to Europe, for the time being anyway!
Barcelona blues
If you love the Spanish vibes but want to stay on home turf, try Portmeirion in Wales. It’s a quirky, vibrant place to visit and you will be mesmerised by the architecture – we are sure of it. Plus, Wales is a great place to explore and there’s plenty to do nearby so pack your bags and get exploring.
Want to go Swiss?
Scotland is a great alternative to Switzerland and with sweeping views and mountainous surroundings, you won’t feel too far from the Swiss climes at all! We are lucky to be based in Glasgow so we know it like the back of our hand but some of our favourite places are The Cairngorms, The Isle of Skye and Braemar!
Budapest to Bath
Looking for hot springs, spas and wine? Bath has got you covered. Based in Somerset, you will find history, beauty and culture here. Did you know that the whole of Bath has world heritage site status? Pretty cool and definitely worth a visit.
An -almost- floating City
While Venice is known to be the floating city, you can get a similar experience in Canterbury. Home to the remains of a Medieval town and rivers that run right through. There are Gondola-style boats that you can take a tour on, find all of the glamour and romance a whole lot closer to home.
There are just a few of our favourite UK Hotspots, so make a plan and head out on the road. Of course, you can still head to Europe but make sure you do your research first. If you need a campervan in Glasgow, visit us at Your Camper.
