Road trip tips
If you are heading out on a road trip next year, you may have forgotten some tips and tricks having had next to zero travel throughout 2020. We are joking, kind of… However, we do have some tips for planning a road trip so if you can’t wait to get exploring, read on.
Snacks at the ready
Make sure you have a sufficient amount of snacks and refreshments at the ready. We have learned many things on our travels but one thing that never fails to surprise us is the cost of drinks and snacks when we come to fuel up.
Plan for fuel
Speaking of fuel, look at your route and have a vague plan of where you are going to fuel up. Our advice is, if you see a fuel station, go for its depending on where you are travelling to, it may be a while before you get the opportunity again.
Rest up
Get a good night's sleep before you head out and even though it is tempting to leave at the crack of dawn to miss traffic, it is preferable to be well-rested.
Keep it loose
Plans change and it is important to stay loose and fluid. Some of our best adventures have come from wrong turns, overstaying in places and wondering what is a little further down the road.
If you are looking forward to adventuring and road tripping and are looking for something to get you there, give us a call at Your Camper, where the team will be more than happy to help.
