Visiting Cornwall
Heading to Cornwall? Looking for inspiration? It is one of our favourite places to visit, despite the long drive from our HQ in Glasgow! Check out our top spots below and let us know where you are heading.
Lands End
Stunning views, unless you get hit by the fog (trust us, it has happened to us a fair few times) but even if the weather has other ideas, there is something special about standing here and looking out. It kind of feels like the end of the world but in a really pleasant kind of way!
St Ives
St Ives feels exotic and, much like the rest of Cornwall, like you’re a million miles away from anything stressful or of note. It’s the perfect place to relax and kick back, whether you’re looking for amazing food, a gorgeous beach or just somewhere to while away the hours.
Port Isaac
Watch our for the seagulls and enjoy some gorgeous fish and chips. You can pop down to the harbour and meet the fishermen, plus get a slice of the local action and explore the local indie shops.
Kynance Cove
Read up before you visit as you don’t want to get caught by the tides. However, that aside, this cove has sandy beaches and waters that will leave you feeling like you are abroad. It’s a fair ramble to get there but don’t let that put you off as the beach is more than worth it.
Polperro
Fresh off the back of a postcard, Polperro is full of spectacular things to see. It is an old fishing village with plenty of charm and winding streets for you to explore. Steeped in history for you to find and make sure you head to The Ship Inn for a pint!
There are just a handful of the places we love to visit in Cornwall. If you are heading there and need a van for the trip, get in touch with the team at Your Camper for a camper van in Glasgow.
