Visiting North Wales
North Wales is full fo places to visit, gorgeous beaches and plenty of Welsh Charm. If you are planning a trip, take a look at our favourite destinations below...
Llandudno
Always a favourite, Llandudno is the perfect seaside town with a lovely seafront, classic pier and plenty of shops. It is also home to the Great Orme which is always fun to go up (by car, by foot or cable car!)
Portmeirion
Just like something out of Alice in Wonderland, this place is sure to wow you. Take a walk through the colourful buildings and grab a cup of tea and slice of cake in the cafe. You can book tickets online or on the day, we could go back here time and time again.
Anglesey
Gorgeous beaches and seaside resorts build out of old fishing villages, Anglesey has plenty to offer if you are heading to Wales. There is lots to do so plan a few days here or pick your favourites if it is a fleeting visit.
Bodnant Garden
Now part of the National Trust, whether you’re green fingered or not, this is a stunning garden to visit. Set over 80 acres and full of gorgeous plants and trees, it’s a wonderful day out for the family or solo, if you have a dog it is worth checking the website as you can take them with you on certain days.
Black rock sands
One of our favourite beaches, it is drive-on too so you can set the camper up, get your towels out and watch the world go by. It can get quite busy so pick your time to go and get ready to nab a good spot.
There are a few of our favourite jaunts in North Wales. Let us know if you’re planning to go and if you need a camper van to get you there, you know where we are for camper vans in Glasgow.
