Welsh hidden gems

If you are looking for your next adventure then Wales could be just the place for you. Packed with gorgeous scenery, rolling hills and countless waterfalls, here are some hidden gems that you should definitely think about visiting.

Whether it is a long weekend or a week-long escape, Wales always proves popular for those with campers and it is easy to see why. Pack your bags and get ready to explore…

Beaumaris

Quaint shopping and plenty of independent businesses, Beaumaris is a gorgeous place to visit. Stepped in history with castle ruins nearby and plenty of things to see and do, it is one of our favourite stop-offs if we are heading to Anglesey. Angelsey itself is full of gems so it is definitely worth a trip and spending a couple of days there exploring.

Bryncrug

Just outside of Tywyn and close to Aberdovey, make sure you visit and walk the waterfalls and explore things nearby as well. It is the perfect base camp and the beaches nearby are out of this world, you will think you are overseas!

Aberdaron

Small and reserved, with great pubs and one of the best chip shops we have visited. Watch the sun go down from your camper on the car park or head to the terrace at a local pub for the perfect sea view. Slightly out of the way but worth the drive we can assure you.

Harlech

A sandy beach that you could walk along for miles and hours, Harlech is home to some wonderful buildings, and a cracking of course too. A little adventure walk to the beach but it is worth the confusion, and the walk through the golf course we mentioned!

Barmouth

The perfect spot to watch the sun go down, the sunsets here are magnificent. It is an up and coming area so worth spending some time here or perhaps setting this one as your base camp for a few days.
