What features should I get included in my Campervan

When choosing your converted campervan, you need to consider what kind of features and accessories you’d like. If you’re struggling to prioritise the essentials to look out for, and what you should be considering, we’ve curated a list for you.

On and off road capabilities

You're probably going to use your converted campervan for a lot of weekend adventures, holidays, and cross-country trips that will entail both on and off-road driving. To ensure your campervan is ready for maximum exploration, look for a 4WD competent van with improved wheels and tyres.

Ample storage

You should look for a campervan with plenty of storage capabilities both inside and out. Our converted Volkswagen campervans feature furniture units inside, including upper cupboard, under bed storage, kick boards and a matching table with a built-in sliding door storage system.

We also fit built in awnings on a selection of our converted campervans, and a lot of them come with the ability to fit a roof rack.

Solar Power

If you’re looking to go truly off the grid in your converted campervan, you won’t have access to an external electric hook up, so what do you resort to instead? Solar power.

Our converted campervans come with an integrated solar panel, of which is still effective even in rain and cloudy weather. Read more about it here

An easy layout

It’s important to make maximum use of the space in a campervan to give owners ultimate practicality.

In our conversions, we install adaptable built-in seat beds, the RIB Altair being our most popular for comfort and practicality. This gives you a complete flat surface to sleep on when laid flat, and gives you a seamless design with plenty of storage underneath when folded back.

We also include a station for a microwave, gas burner hob, and a sink and tap, all within easy reach, as well as USB charging points for connectivity on the go.

A quality interior

When purchasing your converted campervan, you want to ensure the interior is comfortable and high quality too. After all, it is going to be a space for you and your partner, friends or family to relax and unwind.

Many of our converted campervans include comfort features such as insulated floor and walls which are ply and carpet lined, heaters, and touch dimming LED lighting.

Does it come with a warranty?

Having a campervan warranty can give you peace of mind that your campervan is protected in the event of any unexpected mechanical or electrical faults. It’s a great way to protect your investment, and ensure your vehicle can be fixed quickly, so you can get back to adventuring.

The converted campervans we have on sale include a balance of a 3 year Volkswagen vehicle warranty, with added roadside assistance, as well as a 12 month warranty on the conversion itself.
