UK beaches
Beach lovers rejoice! While you may not be heading abroad this year, we have some cracking beaches here in the UK. Here’s our round-up of some of our favourites, but let us know if you think we have missed any off!
Perranporth, Cornwall
There is just something about Cornwall that gets us every time. It might be the slower pace of life or it might just be the stunning views, every way you turn. Perranporth beach is up there with the best of them and the Watering Hole on the beach is a firm favourite stop-off for a drink and a bite to eat.
Luskentyre, Scotland
The beach on the Isle of Harris, it’s tranquil and feels the perfect amount of ‘secluded’. It’s not your average beach and make sure you plan your journey a little bit in advance to go and see this beauty.
Scarborough, Yorkshire
Perhaps the most unlikely appearance on the list, but a worthy entry nonetheless. Scarborough beach is stunning, just be prepared for super chilly seas!
Compton Bay, Isle of Wight
Absolutely stunning and the perfect place to relax. We are huge fans of the Isle of Wight anyway, but this beach is like the icing on the cake. Plan a trip for a week or a weekend, and enjoy everything the Isle of Wight has to offer, we are sure you will love it as much as we do.
