Beauty spots to visit in the UK with your campervan
Summer is approaching, which means it’s time to get your campervan out from the garage, give it a thorough clean, and start planning your campervan holiday. If you’re looking at holidaying in the UK, and are looking for the top beauty spots to visit, continue reading our guide for some of the places that should be at the top of your list.
The Lake District
Known for some of the most scenic and peaceful landscapes in Britain, the Lake District is the perfect campervan getaway if you enjoy walking, or if you want to explore some of the mountain passes such as Newlands Pass and Hard Knott Pass.
There are plenty of scenic lakes to park up beside and spend the night, and the mountain air will definitely have you feeling refreshed and revitalised.
North Coast 500, Scotland
The North Coast 500 route is proving popular with campervanners, and it’s easy to see why. The route takes about 5-7 days to complete, and covers some of the major beauty spots around Scotland. Start in Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands, and go on to explore places such as the Black Isle - one of the best spots in Scotland for spotting dolphins, to Wester Ross, a breathtaking mountainous landscape with mediterranean style beaches.
Snowdonia, Wales
Head for Snowdon if you want to experience some astonishing mountain views. Get up close and personal to Snowdon itself by staying at Bryn Gloch Caravan and Camping Park, located right at the foot of the mountain.
If you want to stretch your legs, you can take one of three walking routes up the mountain; the Miners Track, Pyg Track and Crib Goch, or you can always get a train up too. 
The New Forest, Hampshire
The New Forest is home to some stunning expansive countryside. You’ll find horses, wild pigs and deer roaming around, so if you’re a fan of wildlife, this is the ideal getaway for you for your campervan holiday.
Places to stay in and around the New Forest include Hollands Wood Campsite, located in Brockenhurst, a small village just on the outskirts. There are lots of lovely quaint yet rustic pubs in the village, as well as bike hire so you can adventure through the New Forest itself. Make sure to also visit the New Forest Water Park if you decide to take a trip here!
